QuitKit is provided by Appwared. This policy explains the information used to provide quit tracking, subscriptions, support groups, and sponsor features.
Your quit date, quit type, savings settings, progress, and recorded quit-contract audio are stored locally on your device. Quit-contract audio is not uploaded by QuitKit.
If you use Support Groups, QuitKit stores the account identifier supplied by WhoExactly, your chosen nickname, language and region, club membership, messages, emoji reactions, sponsor relationships, check-ins, reports, and notification device token. Your quit type and elapsed progress are shared with club members only when you enable the progress-sharing preference.
WhoExactly processes account identity and verifies App Store subscription transactions for QuitKit. Apple processes purchases and may provide signed transaction and subscription-status information. QuitKit does not receive your payment-card details.
Information is used only to operate the app, verify access, deliver support-group and sponsor features, prevent abuse, respond to reports, and send requested service notifications. QuitKit does not sell personal information or use health progress for advertising.
Local information remains until you reset or delete the app's data. You can delete your online account from Settings. Limited security and transaction records may be retained where required for fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance.
You can disable progress sharing in Settings, leave a support group, sign out, reset your local progress, or delete your account.
